BIOGRAPHY

Spider Web Cleaners use to jam together since 1996. At the very beginning of the project, 2 guys, Jean-Louis and Raoul, bored with all these “same sounding” bands growing up around. Their plan : play something slow, low and detuned, following the sick steps of bands such as Acid Bath, Crowbar, Pissing Razors... 

After this first attempt in sonic excess , the two became three with the arrival of Philippe. Years passed by, and the band enjoyed terrorizing all kind of insects living in Louis’ cellar. In the meantime, Spider Web Cleaners was still in search of a decent vocalist.

June 2000, tired of waiting, the band decided to commit its first live outrage. Ex-Celophysis' lead vocalist Gerry was part of the audience. In Search for something new,  he acepted to squeal in the mic.

February 2002, after several gigs in France and Germany, the band gave birth to its 1st  4 tracks demo "Truth Lies In gravity".

In 2003, Spider Web Cleaners gave several gigs in France and Germany, especially the 21st June 2003 along with GURD in Tholey by Hard Rock John.

  Nowadays, the band, wich became instrumental again, is working on new stuff. Many "in your face" riffs are already born. New recording sessions and gigs are scheduled !!!!!
